About This Blog

Welcome to the blog and thanks for dropping by!

This is a Lifestyle Blog/General Blog, it has been published in 2016 as a platform solely to share my antagonistic reflections about happiness, relationship, environment, politics, family, and leadership I wrote when I was studying in college. I believe posting those reflections would connect me to like-minded people. Unfortunately, those reflections were totally gone because my external hard drive was corrupted. Even though, I still continued blogging sharing different things I think brings value to other people.

The following is proof that my blog is somehow bringing something of value to other people:

  • has been featured (#22) on June 26, 2019, as one of the Top 30 Philippines Lifestyle Blogs on Feedspot.
  • has been featured (#81) on August 17, 2020, as one of the Top 100 Online Business Blogs And Websites in 2020 for Beginners.

About the Man Behind This Blog

I am VDB (Van Dewey Balao) a full-time employee, part-time blogger and amateur affiliate marketer. I started my blog in 2016 with the aim of sharing my knowledge and experiences I've learned along the way for like-minded people as well as for the general public.

I love to spend my off-hours doing affiliate marketing, blogging, mountain biking, playing with simple codes and applying here on my blog, running errands, doing the household chores and spending time with my wife and son than attending parties and spending time with toxic people.
